Hosted by Transporto Inovacijų Asociacija, the event brought together over 50 members from 20 partner organisations, continuing the collaborative efforts to revolutionise the logistics and transport sector.

DAY 1 – STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

The meeting began with a warm welcome from the hosts in the beautiful city of Vilnius. The first day’s agenda was packed with updates on the development of the multimodal marketplace, a key component of the ADMIRAL project. This platform aims to increase transparency, efficiency and sustainability in the logistics and transport sector. Partners shared insights on the latest advances in sustainable transport and logistics, focusing on AI-driven solutions for emissions reduction, resilient supply chains and enhanced stakeholder collaboration.

Interactive workshops on the pilot projects were a highlight of the day, allowing partners to critically evaluate solutions and impacts. These discussions not only facilitated knowledge sharing, but also strengthened collaboration between partners, driving the project forward with renewed vigour.

DAY 2 – PRACTICAL INSIGHTS AND REAL-WORLD APPLICATIONS

The second day of the meeting was equally eventful, offering practical insights into various aspects of the Lithuanian logistics and transport sector. The day began with a visit to Vilniaus Baldai, where partners explored innovative manufacturing and logistics operations. This was followed by an update on the Lithuanian pilot project, highlighting progress and future plans in the region.

A tour of the cargoGO logistics centre provided an in-depth look at driver training programmes, including the use of virtual reality technology. This innovative approach highlights the project’s commitment to using cutting-edge technology to improve logistics operations.

A visit to LTG’s Vilnius Intermodal Terminal provided a comprehensive understanding of intermodal transport solutions, emphasising the importance of efficient and sustainable logistics networks. The day concluded with a visit to the scenic town of Trakai, a perfect end to two intense but rewarding days of discussion and exploration.
